Range Road Communications combines strategic communications services with privacy expertise to help organizations manage risk related to their information management practices. This includes developing privacy management programs, completing privacy impact assessments, preparing for breaches and responding to access to information requests.

Range Road Communications advises on Alberta's Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), Health Information Act (HIA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), as well as The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP), The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LA FOIP), The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Saskatchewan.

During nearly 10 years leading communications for the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, the most common concern I heard from organizations was that people were dealing with privacy "off the side of their desk." This is why I started Range Road Communications: To help organizations manage their privacy programs. I offer additional communications services, such as project planning, stakeholder engagement, speech writing, media relations, and website development.

​​Some of my accomplishments include executing a stakeholder engagement plan to inform Alberta's health professionals about new privacy breach reporting requirements, co-leading the development of the Privacy and Access in Saskatchewan Schools website for the Saskatchewan School Boards Association and co-authoring the Global Privacy Assembly's Resolution on E-Learning Platforms on behalf of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

I attained a Master of Administration and Leadership from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Communications Studies from the University of Calgary. I am also a Certified Information Privacy Manager through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
